This year’s Cronk–Cunis Under 21 Rugby Festival takes place on Monday 30 August at Richmond Athletic Ground and once again the event should be a great spectacle. The festival has developed into the biggest day of 15 a-side adult rugby in England and this year will see 850 players from 50 Old Boy teams from some of the strongest state and independent rugby playing schools. Over 70 15-minute-each-way matches will be played on seven pitches with non-stop action through the day in Cup, Plate, Bowl, Vase and Shield knockout Competitions.
St Benedict’s were the winners last year beating Millfield 27-0 in the final after a tense 26-21 victory over Dulwich in a semi final that went to extra time.
