If you were browsing the blog a couple of weeks ago, you’ll have seen that England Sevens players Chris Cracknell and Michaela Staniford unveiled the new kit that will feature at this year’s Marriott London Sevens. The pair posed on the roof on Twickenham in the rather fetching home and away strips, which feature vibrant yellow streaks in keeping with the 1970s disco theme that the fans will enjoy at the event.
The vivid design follows the successful tequila sunrise shirt, which was worn during victories by the men’s squad in Dubai in 2010 and 2011 and more recently by the Women’s team that triumphantly lifted the trophy at the Hong Kong leg of the HSBC World Series in March.
Wanting to keep our readers looking as trendy as possible, On The Tryline has teamed up with the London Sevens to offer two lucky readers a free shirt each. We’ve got one home shirt (white) and one away shirt (purple) to give away. To enter, simply send you answer to the question below to firstname.lastname@example.org and give us your preferred strip and size along with your contact details and address. Entries should be sent by 6.00 pm. Wednesday 9 May.
Question: Name the finalists in last year's London leg of the World Series.
Tickets for the Marriott London Sevens are still available.
